When I started my business during the pandemic, I had no idea it would lead to me becoming a full-time wedding floral preservationist. I was just making trinkets and homeware with epoxy and sharing my creations with a few customers.
Turns out, people loved my work. Some of those early customers came back a year later, asking if I could preserve their wedding flowers in epoxy. I was pretty intimidated by the idea, considering I was handling something so precious, and the practice was too novel for there to by any tutorials. So, I told them I’d need some time to figure it out, and spent the next year learning and perfecting the craft.
After countless wasted liters of resin and more than a few literal blood, sweat, and tears, I can now proudly showcase my work and reflect on how far I’ve come. My business isn't the most grandiose, but I am deeply grateful for those first clients (sorry if my early attempts weren’t the greatest) and the unwavering support from my friends and family. They’ve all helped me reach this point, and for that, I’m eternally thankful.
it's play time!
I design other things too.
